Day 01 (October 6) Arrive Paro
After check- in and lunch, take a leisurely tour of Paro town and Dzong. Free time for a stroll around town.

Day 02 (October 7) Sightseeing in the Paro valley
National Museum and lunch at historic farmhouse – former governor’s homestead. O/N Paro  

Day 03 (October 8) The hike to Taktsang (Paro)
picnic lunch at the top is highly recommended. O/N Paro 

Day 04 (October 9) Drive to Thimphu
Afternoon at Tsechu. O/N Thimphu  

Day 05 (October 10) Join the crowds (Thimphu)
For a full day at the Thimphu Festival. Morning at festival. After lunch return to the festival or alternative sightseeing. 

Day 06 (October 11) Morning at the festival Thimphu
Afternoon Sightseeing in Thimphu -  Visit Memorial Chorten and Thimphu town. O/N Thimphu 

Day 07 (October 12) Early start to drive from Thimphu to Punakha
via Dochula Pass (3000m.) visiting Chimi Lhakhang en route. Visit Punakha Dzong and other sights. O/N Punakha 

Day 08 (October 13) Drive from Punakha
Afternoon sightseeing in Paro. Farewell dinner and native dance celebration. Overnight in Paro. 

Day 09 (October 14) Departure from Paro
